Please read below to know how to prepare for, and what to expect on

Assessment Day.


AMR/RMR Preparation

No Intense exercise (>1 hour) 24 hours before the test

At least 5 hours fasting prior to the test


**NO Fasting requirement IF ONLY doing the fitness (AMR) assessment is being performed


No caffeine, tobacco or stimulating drinks 5 hours before the test

Continue medications as usual – prepare to discuss before your test begins

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes (workout clothes if AMR will be done after)

Bring additional clothes and a towel for after the exercise portion of the test

Bring a snack and water for after the test/s
